"PEMS is one of the most important technical development that came to clean and efficient cookstoves. For the first time, stove engineers had a tool to measure emissions, in real time; PEMS was developed specifically for stove testing procedures and for 'field' testing conditions.

"The PEMS also comes with a process to handle the whole testing procedure, from setting up the equipment, to processing/analyzing results. In one years, Prakti used the testing equipment, almost every day, to both understand and optimize our stoves, as well as understand how our stoves and other stoves work in different conditions.
