We have developed a method for precise construction of this stove utilizing local labor in the developing world. This creates desperately needed jobs, incubates successful small businesses, and places production close to end users.

The performance of the 60 Liter Stove depends on very precise manufacturing. Tiny variations in critical dimensions can radically change stove efficiency and pollution, so we have designed our methodology to consistently produce stoves to within one millimeter tolerances. The results are unparalleled performance and excellent product longevity. Our stoves are unconditionally guaranteed for one year.

We ship all the parts - including the pot and lid - necessary for stove construction. Our assembly methodology relies on custom tooling which forces precision yet allows the use of semi-skilled workers. Most of the construction is done with hand tools, and power requirements are very low.

Our manufacturing process includes laser cutting of critical parts and use of a set of tools and jigs of our design which ensure consistent quality production. Stove Factory in a Box will supply all the tools and jigs necessary for assembly of finished stoves at a very low cost. Our Oregon factory produces finished stoves for humanitarian projects and is also a training facility. For modest consulting fees, we will train personnel in our shop or in the field, and we will help set up production facilities anywhere in the world.
